1959 with a few years gap in my early teens when my dad moved to other bands, returned in 1969.

Denby Dale, Oughtibridge, Rockingham, Hade Edge, Yorkshire Schools Brass Band and the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.
I currently also play with Skelmanthorpe

Playing in Howard Davies Park in St Helier, Jersey with NYBB where not a blade of grass could be seen due to the thousands who had come to see the band. Also to see my daughter, Linda, perform with the NYBB.
